RiskAlpha was founded with a single mission: to get rid of excel. Well funny enough, that's about the origin story... But it turned into so much more. The vision became clear: Building an actual real macro forecasting tool. This became the founder's obsession.
RiskAlpha today combines data, research, and clear statistical interpretations to provide independend rankings for assets, suppurting predictions for and with: macro indicators, sectors, regions and whatever you want to analyze.

Niclas Hummel has a background in economics and IT and has been an active trader since 2013. Over more than a decade in the markets, he has experienced bull runs, crises, and everything in between. He is known for his clear, practical explanations and ability to make complex connections easy to understand.
Beyond trading, he has published two books on finance and continues to share insights on markets, cycles, and portfolio management. His approach focuses on the business cycle as the true source of edge — bridging the gap between short-term speculation and long-term investing.
